Our Charities

The Friends of St Mary’s Barnes raise funds for the maintenance of St Mary’s Church, the oldest building in Barnes. Dating back to 1100 the church was rebuilt after a fire in the 1980s and is now used for many community events including The Barnes Charity Ball, Barnes Music Festival, Barnes Charity Bazaar, concerts, lectures and celebrity events.

In 2011, The Friends of St Mary’s Church kindly offered their wonderful venue and the show hit the catwalk for the first time. Now in its 8th year, due to popular demand, the 2018 show will span two nights.
